Stayin’ alive, barely: Sad news today, as reports note that Robin Gibb, one-third of the Bee Gees, is reportedly close to death, suffering from health problems stemming from a blocked bowel he suffered nearly two years ago, along with colon cancer which was reportedly in remission a month ago. His twin brother, Maurice, died of a simliar condition nine years ago. Robin is reportedly in a coma, with his family at his side. Robin, along with Maurice and Barry, emerged from Australia to become one of the biggest music acts of the 1960s and 1970s, with a lengthy career spanning over four decades. Fingers crossed that he can hold on a bit longer.
